What to Expect

At Streams in the Desert, you will step away from the noise and make intentional space to seek Him first. This retreat is for the woman called to build in the marketplace who knows she cannot do it well without intimacy with Jesus. You will pause, worship, rest, and create room to truly hear His voice about your life and your business.

Surrounded by the beauty of the desert and the still waters of the lagoon, you will be reminded that strategy flows best from surrender. Through unhurried conversations, prayer, and Spirit led encouragement, the Lord will refresh what has felt weary and realign what has felt heavy.

This retreat is about building from overflow, not emptiness. Moving from pressure to peace. From striving to trust. You will leave refreshed, clear, and confident that as you seek Him first, He will faithfully lead the way.

Discover the Heart of Our Retreat

Streams in the Desert

This isn’t just another retreat — it’s an encounter with the Living God in the middle of your calling and the weight you carry as a leader. No More Dry Ground is a sacred time to be refreshed, realigned, and reminded that even in seasons that have felt dry in business, He is doing something new beneath the surface. As the sun rises over the red rocks of Utah, you’ll be invited to pause, breathe deeply, and notice the streams He’s bringing forth where it once felt barren and uncertain.

This is where striving in business ends, surrender begins, and your heart is revived in His presence..

Hearing God's Voice

God still speaks, and He cares deeply about the direction, strategy, and growth of your business. He is not distant from your marketing, your offers, your pricing, or your leadership decisions. He desires to guide it all. You will learn to discern His voice with confidence and move forward with clarity instead of confusion.

As you quiet the noise of comparison and pressure, you will begin to recognize His leading more consistently. Hearing from God in business is not reserved for a select few. It is the fruit of intimacy with Him and the foundation of building with Kingdom purpose and lasting impact.

Prophetic Encounters

We create intentional space for you to hear God’s voice with clarity for your life and business. Through Spirit-led prayer and encouragement, you will experience confirmation, renewed direction, and the confidence that comes from being deeply seen and loved by the Father.

Raven Van Asten will lead our Prophetic Art Encounter, a creative experience where you partner with the Holy Spirit through simple expression to capture what He is revealing to your heart. No artistic skill is needed. This is about presence, listening, and breakthrough.

Social Media Content Experience

It’s your chance to finally capture the content you’ve been meaning to create.

We will help you film natural, authentic videos and snap beautiful photos that feel aligned with your message, your calling, and the brand God is building through you.

With Utah’s red rocks as your backdrop, you’ll gather b roll, reels, and elevated brand images that reflect the confidence and clarity He is forming in this season. We will guide you with simple prompts and practical support so you never feel awkward or unsure. You’ll leave refreshed and equipped with a strong library of content ready to share consistently, boldly, and with purpose.

Nourished Body

We believe nourishment is ministry. The table is more than a place to eat. It is a place to slow down, laugh, connect, and be cared for.

Each meal is thoughtfully prepared with fresh, wholesome ingredients that reflect God’s attention to detail. Whether you’re coming in from quiet time with the Lord or a day exploring Zion, every gathering around the table becomes a moment to exhale and receive.

We also do our best to thoughtfully accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences so you feel fully cared for. Our heart is that you are nourished in body and soul, free to focus on all God is doing during your time with us.

Sisterhood

You were never meant to build alone. One of the most powerful parts of this retreat is the sisterhood that forms when Kingdom women gather with open hearts, shared vision, and a deep hunger for God.

Conversations go deep quickly. You will pray together, worship together, and stand in faith for one another’s businesses, families, and callings. These are more than retreat friendships. These are battle buddies — women who remind you who you are, speak truth over your vision, and celebrate your obedience as much as your breakthroughs.

This is sisterhood rooted in Christ, strengthened through vulnerability, and built to last long after the retreat ends.

Full Day Excursion:

TESTIMONIALS

What others are saying

"This was an experience I will carry with me...

It has changed me. I feel more focused on slowing down to spend more time Soaking in the Lord. It has strengthened and encouraged me. The maturity in Christ was the most powerful Ive ever seen. My biggest takeaway is slow down, take time to meet Jesus daily ( which I do) but don't rush through! Build a deeper relationship with him."

- Anne C.

"It's hard to explain how I am feeling...

I have been home now for two days, and all I want to do is listen to worship music. I feel like Moses, who saw God and came down glowing. I do not think I can even explain the experience without even crying. When I think about how personally God touched my heart, through your prayers.....there is not even a word to describe it."

- Kim T.

"Best retreat I have ever been too...

Some have been too big, too cliquey, or not intimate. The size was perfect, you were biblical, you set standards for prayer, we had homemade, healthy meals, you implemented worship in the AM and PM, you set the example for worship, the lessons were fruitful for Jesus and business, and I could go on and on. I think we are all blown away on how our 4 leaders led and served and what God did in those 5 days. My heart is so full, and I can't wait for the next one!"

- Amber H.

Hey there, I’m Michelle Tufford, the heart behind No More Dry Ground. I’m a wife, mama of two, and a Christ centered entrepreneur with a deep passion for helping women build their lives and businesses from the most important foundation of all: a personal relationship with God.

If you are considering this retreat, chances are you are already a woman who is building something meaningful in the marketplace. You carry vision. You lead. You create. You serve others through the work God has placed in your hands.

You may already have a business that is growing or even thriving. From the outside, it may look like you have momentum, clarity, and success.

But the reality many women in business quietly carry is this: the responsibility of leadership requires a lot of pouring out.

You are constantly showing up for clients, your community, your team, and the people God has called you to serve. You hold vision. You make decisions. You carry responsibility that others may not fully see.

And sometimes, even in the middle of building something meaningful, you realize your heart simply needs space to be refreshed in the presence of the Lord.

The theme for this retreat, Streams in the Desert, comes from a powerful promise in Scripture:

"See, I am doing a new thing… now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."
— Isaiah 43:19

Even strong leaders and successful business owners walk through seasons that feel like the desert. Not because you are off track, but because you have been faithfully pouring out for a long time.

Throughout Scripture we see that the wilderness is often where God meets His people most intimately. It is where He quiets the noise, renews our strength, and reminds us that He is still the source of everything we are building.

This retreat was created with that in mind.

Streams in the Desert is a space for businesswomen and leaders to step away from the noise of everyday life and make room to reconnect with the Lord. It is an opportunity to slow down, worship, pray, and listen for His voice again.

Not from a place of striving for the next strategy, but from a place of returning to the source.

My heart is that you leave this retreat with more than inspiration. I want you to leave refreshed in spirit, grounded in His presence, and confident in hearing His voice as you continue building what He has called you to build.

Because when we stay connected to the source of living water, we no longer build from exhaustion or pressure.

We build from overflow.

And even the places that once felt dry begin to flow again with streams in the desert.

Hi ladies, I'm Tarryn Raquel, a wife and faith-based business mentor from beautiful Australia. Michelle and I connected many years ago through our businesses; little did we know at the time that we would soon be walking a very similar path of learning to hear God's voice. I have fallen in love with having a relationship with our loving Heavenly Father. I have climbed many mountains—from not even having a desire to seek God to now talking to Him all throughout the day, wanting more of Him and less of me. To be honest, I believe this lack of desire to seek God came from feeling like I couldn't hear from Him. I felt I couldn't 'hear' His voice, as I had painted a clear picture of what this would look like. I felt I was missing something. Wow, did I have it so wrong! The first time I heard God speak to me, I cried for hours. He spoke straight into my heart, but not in the way I expected. Talk about a 180 flip. I've had so many beautiful moments since then, learning to take whatever is on my mind to my Father, who wants us to 'come' to Him with our grateful—and, at times, broken—hearts, uncertainties, worries, desires, and questions about which way to go. I soon learned that God speaks to us in so many ways. He is in everything. He speaks to us through His living Word, our thoughts, movements, timings, people, and even through an audible voice—or, one very close to my heart, through nature. The list goes on. The journey is different for everyone, and that's what makes it so uniquely beautiful. If I hadn’t gone through these struggles of feeling like I couldn't hear God's voice, I might not have hit a point of frustration, asking for God's help to seek Him more. This is when it all changed for me.

I began to ask God questions, and He answered me. I got to know God's personality as His daughter and how He saw me through His eyes instead of my own, which has now put a deep desire in me to help other sisters in Christ discover what I believe is the greatest gift and purpose each of us could possibly have. As a daughter, mother, wife, grandparent, sister, or friend, I believe that this individual and intimate walk with God, hearing His voice through the Holy Spirit, will change your whole life.

It blows my mind even to comprehend how gentle, yet sovereign and powerful, God is. How incredible is it to think that the Creator of the universe wants to partner with us in our every need? Yes, even in the little things, such as helping you get a car park closest to the supermarket entrance when it's raining. There's nothing He doesn’t want you to take to Him as His daughter. I also believe He doesn’t light up the path too far in front of us so that we continue to rely on Him for directions at each corner. He wants us near. He wants a relationship with you. I have walked a challenging yet beautiful road from what I call rock bottom, and through that, I wouldn't give this gift up for anything in this world. I started to hear His voice in ways I never expected, and my heart for you joining our retreat, waking up to the sound of waves and grabbing what we Aussies call a 'cuppa' in hand, is for you to experience this precious gift too.

Prophetic ARt Facilitator: Raven Van Asten

  • Founder of Kumi Collective, a transformational art studio creating spaces for reflection, creativity, and personal insight through expressive art.

  • Certified in Neuro-Mindfulness, Neuroplasticity Coaching, and has a background in Psychology and expressive art.

  • Creates a peaceful environment where you can slow down, reflect, and listen for what God may be speaking through creativity.

  • Guides a prophetic art experience where color, shapes, and creative expression become a way to process what the Lord is revealing during the retreat.

Nice to meet you! I’m Raven—visionary artist, follower of King Jesus, entrepreneur, and lover of bougie crayons. I’m the founder of Kumi Collective, a transformational art studio offering virtual sessions, with our flagship in-person studio opening soon in Orange County, CA

I’ll be guiding the prophetic art experience during our retreat. It’s my joy to create a space where you can slow down, listen, and play creatively.

You don’t need any artistic skill or experience as it isn’t about technique or making something “perfect”—it’s about coming with an open heart that is seeking God’s voice. Through simple, guided creative moments, we’ll use art as a way to reflect on our retreat experience, and pay attention to what God is revealing to you personally.

During our session, I’ll gently lead you through a process of listening and responding through color and shapes. Many guests are surprised by the clarity, encouragement, and personal insight that emerges when creativity becomes a space for reflection. What appears on the page is a visual reminder of something God is speaking into your life.

Prophetic art has become a meaningful part of my own journey with God. It’s both a devotional practice and a way of learning to trust His voice while spending time in the Secret Place.

Whether this is your first time creating or something you already enjoy, this session is less about ability and more about encounter. You’ll be creating in a supportive, non-judgmental space, and it’s always beautiful to see how uniquely God speaks to each person.

I can’t wait to meet you and create together. Come just as you are—the supplies are included. All you need to bring is your heart for God and an openness to connection, creativity, and insight.
